Dear Midland Park Residents,
Improper disposal of dog feces in our neighborhoods is still a big concern. With the increase of reports and complaints, The Midland Park Police Department has been advised and will be enforcing the town’s ordinance. Curbing your dog is the law. All pet owners and keepers are required to immediately and properly dispose of their pet's solid waste deposited on any property, public or private, not owned or possessed by that person.
Bulk Garbage items are collected only on Thursdays. Bulk items include carpeting and rugs (bundled), furniture (only two pieces per pick up), broken mirrors, and non-recyclable items. Please remember no construction materials, stone, rock concrete or asphalt will be accepted. Please refer to 2018 Service Almanac.
White Goods are collected on the first Wednesday of the month. Items that are accepted include washing machines, dryers, refrigerators (with doors removed), freezers, dishwashers, ranges, trash compactors, hot water heaters, lawn mowers (fuel removed), air conditioners and grills. You must call 845-753-6666 or email firstname.lastname@example.org to be placed on the pick-up list.
In addition, vegetative waste is collected on Wednesdays from April 11 through October 17. Grass clippings should be placed in open barrels or paper bags, no larger than 30 gallons and weighing no more than 50 pounds.
Magnets with borough’s logo are available for purchase at $5.00 per magnet.
