Notice from Police Department regarding Municipal Parking

Dear Residents,

Recently there has been an increase in unauthorized vehicles parking in employees' spots at Borough Hall. This, in turn, has forced employees to find parking spots elsewhere in the lot or the Midland Park library. Signage has been posted in both entrances to the Borough Hall lot over a year ago describing the regulations.

The RED lined spots are for Borough/Police employees only. YELLOW spaces are for persons doing business at Borough Hall. White spaces are for school related including teachers and staff. When unauthorized vehicles are spotted, the Midland Park Police Department will be leaving warnings. If the violations continue summons will be issued under Borough Ordinance 8-2.1.

No person shall park a vehicle without authorization and for longer than the time shown in the parking lots located at the areas described below:

Location: Midland Park Municipal Building Parking Lot - Green spaces                                                                                   
Restrictions: Resident Commuter Parking by Permit Only
Maximum Time (if app.):Twelve (12) hour maximum
 
Location: Midland Park Municipal Building Parking Lot - White spaces
Restrictions: General parking
Maximum Time (if app.): Twelve (12) hour maximum
 
Location: Midland Park Municipal Building Parking Lot - Yellow Spaces
Restrictions: No parking unless conducting or engaged in business or activities at the Borough Municipal Building
 
Location: Midland Park Municipal Building Parking Lot - Red Spaces
Restrictions: No parking except for Borough employees
