Health Department Services

Health Department services in Midland Park are provided by NorthWest Bergen Regional Health Commission. Midland Park is proud to be one of the original towns of the Commission, which was formed in 1957, and representatives from the Midland Park Board of Health continue to serve as Commissioners. The Commission also contracts to provide public health services for other local communities. The Commission strives to offer better, more complete and more efficient health services to its towns than each town could provide independently. Inspections of restaurants and food establishments, school cafeterias, youth camps, public pools are made regularly. Community environmetal health complaints are investigated. Full-time personnel include a New Jersey State Licensed Health Officer, Environmental Health Specialist/Sanitary Inspectors, Registrars and Health Educators.
