2024 MPFD Junior Firefighter Program

Midland Park Fire Department is proud to announce our Junior Firefighter Program for 2024!

This program is for those who are 16-18 years old. It will be an opportunity to learn about the department, become educated about firefighting, assist on the fire scene, practice skills at our drills and more.

The eventual goal is for candidates to attend the Bergen County Fire Academy and become full members of the department at age 18. An interview, a discussion of the rules and regulations, and a general understanding of the program will take place prior to acceptance into our Junior Firefighter Program.
