Garbage and Trash
 
- Garbage is collected year-round on Mondays and Thursdays, except certain holidays. Check the Borough calendar or the Recycle Coach App for the holiday schedule.
- Household refuse, non-recyclable food containers (such as pizza boxes), table waste, and disposable diapers are accepted.
- Put garbage at the curb in barrels or plastic bags, with a limit of two bags or barrels per pick-up.
- Place items at the curb AFTER 12 Noon the day BEFORE your scheduled pick-up day. 
- Please only leave trash items curbside. Do not leave anything at the curb that you do not intend to have thrown away.
 
Bulk Items
 
- Bulk items will only be collected on Thursdays
- There is a limit of 1-2 bulk items accepted per household per Thursday pick-up.
- Bulk items include carpeting and rugs (bundled), furniture, broken mirrors, and non-recyclable items. Large metal items may be brought to the recycling center.
- No construction materials, stone, rock, concrete, or asphalt will be accepted.
 
Recycling
 
- Please do not put any paper or plastic bags in with comingled items.

Please keep this in mind: it costs the Borough approximately $67.75 per ton to dispose of solid waste at the dumping site, while the Borough receives revenue for the disposal of recyclable materials. Recycling saves the environment and can also help to set off the cost of solid waste removal.
